James Folta

James Folta is a performer and writer who lives in Brooklyn. He has written for the Onion, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency , Funny or Die, Above Average, Splitsider, CollegeHumor and more. He also co-created The Encyclopedia of Hypothetical Police Procedurals, a compendium of more than 100 fake cop shows. He is a house performer at the UCB Theatre and hosts an improv show, The Rug Show, and a literary humor series at HiFi Bar, An Evening of Humorous Readings.
